Dutch-Hungarian meetup at DBH’s Smart City event

Hungarian start-ups got an opportunity to introduce themselves at Smart City Meetup organized by DBH SeedStar.

The Dutch-Hungarian DBH SeedStar start-up accelerator in a partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands gave an opportunity to Hungarian startups for debuting internationally.
The event was held on September 28th and start-ups – delegated by DBH SeedStar – could give presentations about their ideas and projects related to Smart City, Open Data and Circular Economy.
At the DBH SeedStar Smart City Event 7 start-up team pitched to the international experts and gained an opportunity for widening their professional networks. After their three-minutes-long speeches the startups answered to a lot of questions, the Dutch audience was very interested in all the presentations.

Experts who attended the event included: Marthijn Pool és Tjeerd Haccou (Space&matter), Arpad Gerecsey (A-Lab), Ekim Tan (Play the City), Meta van Drunen (Eurodite), Hans Karssenberg (Stipo), Charlot Schans (Pakhuis de Zwijger), Wouter Meys (HvA), Felipe Escobar (MediaLAB), Martijn de Waal (The Public matters).

Besides Route4U, the winner team of Seed Star Battle the following startups introduced themselves and their ideas at the meetup: BigO, Miutcank.hu (BLocal), MosaicLights, Rabbit, SensoMedia and Smart Window Garden

After the presentations the start-up teams gained information about DBH SeedStar Acceleration Program, furthermore as a result of speed networking the Hungarian innovative entrepreneurs could get acquainted with potential clients and investors.
