Cloud enabler Neostratus, DBH Group’s capital investment, announced the commencement of voice/telephony services as an extension to its existing hosted Microsoft Skype for Business service. The offering enables partners to offer modern unified communication solutions to their customers.
“We are proud to be the first provider of Skype for Business with integrated VoIP telephony that is offered as a complete service from the cloud in Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa regions”, said Andras Czermak, Neostratus CEO.
The Neostratus Skype for Business cloud offering has already been chosen by various partners in Europe, Middle East and Africa. The first to roll out the offering is Neostratus partner SUDER Sp. z o.o., a Polish integrator and telecommunications operator. The new VoIP telephony extension to hosted Skype for Business service will be available in all of Neostratus’ markets.
Branded hosted Skype for Business service is available as monthly pay-as-you-go subscription. The solution is fully integrated with Neostratus’ own control panel and provisioning solution, the Neostratus Cloud Services Manager. Partners enabled by this solution can manage numbers and users directly via the Cloud Services Manager user interface and easily provision services.
The new Skype for Business telephony service provided by Neostratus offers IP-PBX capabilities as part of the hosted Skype for Business offering to extend or replace old PSTN infrastructure, helping clients modernize their existing communications infrastructure. The extensions add additional audio, video and instant messaging features to provide a seamless communication and collaboration solution to increase productivity and optimize communications cost.
Skype for Business with integrated VoIP telephony allows users to have direct dial telephone numbers giving them the ability to receive and originate telephone calls from the Skype for Business client installed on their PC, notebook, mobile device (tablet, smartphone) or IP phone set without investment in on-premises infrastructure like PABX, servers, telephone cabling or telephone sets.
Devices enabled with the Skype for Business client use a secured connection and give users a fully functional experience including Unified Communication features such as presence, screen sharing, white boarding, or videoconferences anywhere in the world with Internet access, just as if they were at their office desk.
The Neostratus Skype for Business with integrated VoIP telephony offering also offers dial-in services to allow users to call in to Skype Meetings from any regular telephone line. That way, users without internet access can still participate in Skype Meetings.
Regardless of company size, the new solution based on Skype for Business provides cost-effective tools for collaboration. Online meetings, sending instant messages, initiating or receiving voice- or video calls are all available for up to 1000 users per session.
Using the solution, customers can use the Skype for Business call management capabilities such as call forwarding, simultaneous ringing or personal call handling with Exchange as well as advanced call handling like group pickup, enterprise calendar call routing, delegation and shared line, or call parking. It also provides automated call distribution and optional dial-in capabilities for audio and video conferencing based on Skype for Business.
Utilizing 21st century communication capabilities is not just possible, but rather mandatory in today’s competitive environment. Embracing the power of Skype for Business could eliminate the need for separate PBX infrastructure and optimize communication cost.
The offer is available for existing and new partners and can be activated within a matter of days.
