Software vendor Exact held its annual partner conference Exact Live 2014 in Utrecht, the Netherlands on 5th November. Since DBH IT Services is the official reseller of Exact Software in Hungary, Romania and Croatia, S\u00e1ndor Erdei, CEO of DBH Group was invited to participate in the roundtable discussion about the challenges of managing international businesses.<\/p>\n

His discussion partners were Janco Duvekort, manager of Dutch company Mandaat, Niels van Rees, strategic alliance manager of technology giant Samsung and Gabriel Grohmann, project manager of transport company A. Hartrodt.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is essential to be familiar with the language, culture and regulations of a country,\u201d said Erdei, whose company has not only entered the Dutch and other European markets during its 20 years\u2019 of existence, but has also signed two memorandum of agreements with innovative companies in Azerbaijan most recently. \u201cReligion and the mentality of this country are very different than the standards we are used to here in Europe. You should not consider doing business on your own on this market. You will always need a partner and executive or state support to be able to start negotations and sign deals. But if you succeed, there are great opportunities, especially since it\u2019s an emerging market with high capital potential.\u201d<\/p>\n
