We had a successful ClimateLaunchpad 2016 Bootcamp\u00a0with our startups! During the 2 days bootcamp the startups were given lecture about business development.\u00a0Students, start-ups and entrepreneurs were all invited to submit their cleantech ideas and enter in this opportunity for European and global success.<\/p>\n

We have extended our application deadline to 8 June because of the volume of startup applicants for ClimateLaunchpad 2016.<\/p>\n

We kicked-off ClimateLaunchpad 2016 Bootcamp program on 17 June with our lead coach Hans Westerhof (Entrepreneurship Coach and Program Manager Climate-KIC The Netherlands), Zolt\u00e1n Kov\u00e1cs (PPIS), Csaba Miskolczy (PPIS) and S\u00e1ndor Varga-Tarr (DBH SeedStar). The teams are ready to learn about startup business development and we have some exciting ideas around!<\/p>\n

We’ve completed a successful day and\u00a0our startups learnt how to turn their vision into a business plan, and got an insight of market segmentation and customer value proposition.<\/p>\n

We continued our journey on 18 June at ClimateLaunchpad 2016\u00a0where startups learnt about financials and key value drivers, talking to potential customers, and competitive advantage as well. We put emphasis on the climate impact of our startups since this is the main focus in Europe’s largest cleantech program in addition to create a knowledge of business development.<\/p>\n

We will continue the program with the mentoring sessions from 28 June to 18 July.<\/p>\n

About the ClimateLaunchpad 2016 program:<\/p>\n

ClimateLaunchpad 2016 start-up program, Europe’s largest cleantech business ideas competition is being\u00a0held for the fourth time in Hungary this year. Climate-KIC is one of the Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) created in 2010 by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). The competition is now open for entries from 25 countries for candidates who have not yet started a business or started it less than one year ago, have no substantial revenue, have attracted no more than \u20ac200,000 in investment and have yet to sell products, solutions or prototypes on commercial terms. All entries are judged on their impact on climate change, their growth potential and on the skills and enthusiasm of the team behind them.<\/p>\n

ClimateLaunchpad 2016 kicks off with a two-day business boot camp and is followed by a series of focused coaching sessions to prepare the participants for the national finals where they will pitch their business plan to a professional jury in Budapest, Hungary. The program is orchestrated by Pannon Pro Innovation Ltd. (PPIS) and DBH SeedStar start-up incubators.<\/p>\n
