ClimateLaunchpad 2016 moves to the next level! Pannon Pro Innovations and DBH SeedStar will organize the National Final in EY’s headquarter on 20th July 2016. Eight cleantech idea owners will contest with each other, and pitch to the jury and TOP3 participants will represent Hungary in the European Final of ClimateLaunchpad 2016 in Tallin.
Teams of ClimateLaunchpad 2016 are preparing during the Bootcamp and Coaching Sessions learning about startup business development, market segmentation and customer value proposition, financials and key value drivers, marketing communication, and competitive advantage. On 18th July teams will participate at a pitching session, where the idea owners will get a chance to finalize their pitch before the competition. The stakes are high, as TOP3 participants will represent Hungary in the European Final of ClimateLaunchpad 2016 in Tallin, Estonia on October 7-8.
At the National Final each team will have an eight-minute timeslot to present their business ideas. They will all present a five-minute pitch and there will be a three-minute Q&A with the jury. The jury’s judging criteria is not typical, because at Climate-KIC the main purpose is to find a sustainable idea with a great climate and social impact, which could shape our future more environmentally friendly. The cleantech potential is crucial, so the jury will focus on this value the most.
Jury members are the following:
- András Bányai, M&A Manager, EY
- Bálint Kléri, CTO & Co-founder, Indivizo
- Sándor Varga-Tarr, Marketing Director, DBH Group
- Attila Szigeti, COO, Drukka
- Zoltán Kovács, Entrepreneurship Manager, Pannon Pro Innovations
We wish every participants a wonderful pitch, and hope they will fulfill their dreams and successfully grow their ideas into great businesses! We are all by their side to make cleantech ideas happen!
